GRAND OPERA HOUSE WEEK COMMENCING NOV. 28th, 04. Pittsburg, Pa. VAN FOSSEN & MCCAULEY- 15 minutes in one-3 shows. Black face singing, talking and dancing act. We consider this a very good three a day act. THE EDGERTONS. Aerial act. Three shows. 9 minutes in three-wood. This act is neatly dressed and goes very well in the three a day section. HELEN REIMER- 16 minutes in one. Monologue. We consider Miss Reimer's act only fair. PAULTON & DOOLEY-Comedy bicycle act. 15 minutes, full stage, wood. This is a very good comedy bicycle act. Both the comedy and the bicycle riding are above the average. EARLE & EARLE- 11 minutes in one. Banjo act. This act is neatly dressed but it is far from being what we expected. I think the act a very ordinary one. LIQUID AIR-25 minutes in three-Inertior. Demonstrated by Prof. Rugg. This act does not seem to be helping our business any and it is a question with us whether it is a good thing to put in a vaudeville show. The act, of course, is very quiet and really tiresome to the majority of our patrons. We have the orchestra play a little music all the way through the act which, I think, helps it considerable. ABBIE MITCHELL and her Four Southerners. 12 minutes in one. This act is going very badly with the exception of about two minutes in which they do some rough dancing. They act very much like amateurs. The costumes look very bad and it is a question in my mind whether or not the act will ever make good. FAUST TRIO- 16 minutes-special set. This is a comedy acrobatic act introducing dancing doll. Owing to the hard work of the people in this act they just about get away. I do not consider that they have any talent with the exception of one man who is a fairly good acrobat. DIXON & ANGER-17 minutes in one. Singing, dancing and talking. We consider this only a fair act. FRANK KEENAN & CO. 23 minutes in 3. "The Actor and the Count". Mr. Keenin is a splendid and painstaking actor and is going very good here this week. This is the third time that Mr. Keenan has played this act here and it is going fully as big as ever- CHAS. KENNA-Monologue in one. 17 minutes. Mr. Kenna's act is away from the ordinary and considering the place he has on the bill, is going very good. WENTWORTHS HORSES-10 minutes, full stage-wood. Introducing three people, two horses and a cart. This act is away from the usual run of horse acts, consisting mostly of bareback riding. It is without a doubt the best horse act that we have played. KINETOGRAPH- 15 minutes. The principal picture this week "The Drama in the Clouds". J. P. Harris.
