Biograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1 -- Showing the following list of pictures: 1. The Ex-Convict. Interesting melodramatic subject, well worked out. 2. Coaling a Warship at Sea. Interesting at this time; but at another it might be a trifle tiresome. 3. The Artist and Musician. Comedy picture that secured several laughs. 4. Lovers on the Sand. Comedy picture, but not very funny. Comment - I don't think it is a good show at all. It lacks comedy and has too many acts of the same general kind. Spadoni and the Mowats should not be in one bill, and Moulier Sisters and Adair and Dahn are wasted. Then there is Harry Gilfoil, Digby Bell, and Basque Quartet, and Cole and Johnson. This leaves us with only one comedy, the Barrows-Lancaster comapny, and that is not nearly so good as what they have given us in the past. The show may make good with the public, but I doubt it.
