PHILADELPHIA SHOW,DEC. 12TH. 2. H. A. DANIELS. WARREN & GARDNER-GNH-2-Two men, one working straight; one, blackface. The comedian is very good, and at times had the audience in convulsions. A corking good act. 18 mins. in one. FOUR PIANOS-YRR-2-Three men and a woman. This act is well known to all managers. They were featured at the Auditorium here, in opposition to us, not many weeks ago and their visit to this house on top of that engagement will consequently give them a whole lot of personal satisfaction. The act is a good lively act to use at the close of the show, with probably not one ounce of drawing power in any house on the circuit. Not a headliner by any means for a first class house, and therefore it would seem, on the face of it, that they were not strong enough to compel us to book them here, even if they did play the balance of the circuit. 16 mins. Special Sat. in 3. BIOGRAPH THE OTTER HUNT. Good real life. PARIS FROM THE SEINE. Very good travel picture. THE LIFE OF A RACE HORSE. Good real life. THE COSTER WEDDING. Fair comedy. COMMENT:-The bill is good throughout, the best we have had in some time, with the exception of Luigi Dell'Oro. This act is a museum act, pure and simple. The man can do his whole act in one, or on the apron. He simply sits on his prop throne, bedecked in medals, and plays a large concertina or accordion for 13 minutes. The audience to-day "guyed" him unmercifully, and he had to be stopped. This was the only "kink" in an excellent bill. Cleveland says the act is a good one, and I believe it was placed third from last on their bill. I can only say that we will never care for the act again for this house.
