KEITH'S THEATRE, CLEVELAND, O. Week beginning Dec. 19th, 1904. NEWEL & NIBLO, Musical Act. Just a fair act. They play the Saxaphone, violin and xylophone. The act, however, is much improved since I saw it last. Time, 17 minutes in one. GIRARD & GARDNER, in a sketch entitled "Dooley & the Diamond" This act doesn't go very well. About everything Mr. Girard does in this act he did in the old one, and Jessie Gardner is singing the same song that she sang in the old act. Don't think the act is as good as the other one and wouldn't care to play it again. Time, 25 minutes full stage. VERA KING, in Songs and Monologue. Just a fair act for an early place on the bill; hardly strong enough for Cleveland, and don't care to play here again. Time, 10 minutes in one. THE THREE KEATONS, including BUSTER. This is a familiar act and criticism is unnecessary. It is the hit of the bill, or the boy is, rather. SYDNEY DEANE & CO. in a vocal novelty entitled "Christmas on Blackwell's Island". This act has also been over the circuit and goes very well here. It is a novelty, though I believe the voices are not as good as when I heard them in Buffalo last summer. Evidently there has been some changes for the worst. Time 20 minutes in one. ANNIE IRISH, in her one- act specialty entitled "An Actress' Christmas". This is almost entirely a monologue, nicely done, and has a very artistic tone to it. Time 20 minutes full stage. STUART BARNES, in Songs and Monologue. This is a very good act and goes very well. Both his songs and his talk is good, though, on account of the length of the show, I was obliged to cut out some of his monologue. Time, 20 minutes in one. WILTON BROS. Acrobats. Their work is on the horizontal bar and a little of it of the comedy order. It is a good act, though nothing out of the ordinary. However, it is much better than the usual run of the bar acts I played. There is more finish to it. Time, 8 minutes full stage. AMERICAN BIOGRAPH. Three pictures, Japanese Imperial Guard, An Englishman's Holiday Trip from London to Paris, and The Coal-Heavers and the Dude. There is nothing in these pictures to excite any particular interest. SM Eirick.
