70 GRAND OPERA HOUSE WEEK OF JAN. 16th, 05. PITTSBURG, PA. AERIAL SMITHS- 10 minutes, full stage, wood. Three shows. Trapeze performers. This we consider among the best three a day acts in the business. We have them on at eight o'clock and they are going very well. A NIGHT IN VENICE-Special act. 12 minutes. Introducing three men in singing and playing mandolin, cello, and guitar. While this is not a great act it is a pleasing number and went very well with our patrons. LEW BLOOM & JANE COOPER in their sketch "A Picture From Life". 18 minutes in three. Set house in wood. This act always goes very big with us and this engagement was no exception. LEROY & WOODFORD. In one. 14 minutes. this is simply a rapid fire monologue, Mr. Leroy doing most all the work. Miss Woodford has very little to do which I think is a good thing for the act. Mr. Leroy went very well considering the hard place he had on the bill, following Bloom & Cooper. DELLA FOX-10 minutes in three. Miss fox only went fair with us but I feel sure that she drew some money. She is suffering with a cold during her engagement here which I suppose hurt her work some. She seems very anxious to please and I feel sure she would have done better for us had it not been for her cold. THE ZANZIGS- Mind reading and second sight. In one. 17 minutes. Without a doubt I consider them the best we have in their line of work. I feel sure that they draw some money and that they would do well for us on a return engagement. THREE YOSCARYS-Comedy acrobats. I consider the work of these men as good, if not better than any acrobatic work we have had here this season. Their comedy is very good but they are inclined to be a little broad if not watched. HOWARD & NORTH-Special drop. 20 minutes in one. Parody singing and talking act. This act is away from the other talking acts and is going very big with us. I feel sure that this act will go big with any audience. HARRY ROCHEZ DOGS AND PONIES. Full stage, garden. 18 minutes. this is one of the best animal acts that we have played and pleased our patrons fully as well as any others. KINETOGRAPH "The Life of Kit Carson". J. P. Harris.
