72 NEW YORK CRITICISM: JANUARY 30th, 1905: BIOGRAPH:- We are showing the same set of pictures as lat week, "The [Yegg? Yogg?] Bank Burglars" and "Fire Works". Both good films and went fully as strong as last week. Drop in one, 20 minutes. OWLEY & RANDALL:ER-3: Man and woman in a comedy juggling act, which is greatly improved since last here; the juggling part is better. He manages to break many plates thus securing the laughs. His encore in one is not long enough to clear, therefore, will have to place an act in one to follow. 11 minutes, full stage. POTTER & HARTWELL: GYH-2: Man and young woman in an acrobatic dancing and equilibristic act. Same as presented here before. Every trick strongly applauded. The act is really too good to waste in this part of the bill. Full stage, 10 minutes. AL CLEMENTS: HR-3: This man works in full dress, makes a splendid appearance. His material is all new and bright, with some good parodies. In this place this afternoon he had them laughing and I really thing he could make good further down. Drop in 1, 15 minutes. MR. & MRS. KELCY:GNH-2: Presenting their Irish comedy "In Trust". It is about the same as when played here before. They have a little new business, making a few extra laughs. The act is a good bit of Irish work and the audience greatly appreciated the comedy. 22 mins. Full stage. DIXON & HOLMES:GYH-3: Two men in character impersonations. Each number very favorably received. Received quite a hand on the Jas. A. Herne impersonation. Dp. in 1, 22 Mins. 4 SENSATIONAL BOISES:YRR-2: Two men, boy and girl in a casting act, and one of the best we play. 10 minutes, full stage. HILL & WHITAKER: GYH-2: Man and woman, in a musical number, introducing Banjo and harp selections, with a little coon singing, which the audience appreciated greatly, and compelled them to take several bows on their finish. Drop in one, 14 minutes. RICE & PREVOST: YNH-2: Acrobatic comedy. A scream every minute. The laughing hit of the show. 11 minutes, full stage. BURTON & BROOKS: GHR-2: Two men, in the comedy, "A Can of Humor", containing quite a number of laughs, with plenty of singing. It is the same as presented here before, except on the encore they sing a parody on 'Mr. Morgan' and manage to secure quite a big laugh. Full stage, 27 minutes, with 5 minutes in one.
