(2) BURKE, LaRUE & THE INKEY BOYS:YHR-2: Man, woman and two small colored boys in the comedy, "The Silver Moon". The act has played the circuit and needs no comment; can only say it was received with as big applause as a first presentation. 23 minutes, full stage. RICE & CADY: TWO men German comedy. While this act has some new material and secured quite a number of laughs it is one big gold brick at this price. Would rather have Carlin & Otto at a hundred less. Dp. in 1, 17 M. 2 shs. PAPINTA:MHR-2: Young woman in a series of electrical dances. We were quite lucky in getting this woman on at this hour, as her baggage never reached the theatre until the last minute. She being the feature the greater part of the audience remained to see her. The various dances received some scattered applause, the fire dance getting the most. The act appeals to the lady audience, and while the applause appeared to be light I think they appreciated the act, although she has played this town so much one week here would have been enough. Full stage, 13 minutes. SMITH & BAKER: Two young men, in a singing and dancing act with a little talking. We have substituted this act for Howley & Leslie, who failed to materialize. Their singing and talking don't amount to much, while the dancing is good. One of the boys is so homely he is funny. At the top of the bill they will be all right. Drop in one, 3 shows. Comment:- On re-arrangement the show will be a good one, and far superior to last week,, while there is no big feature, it is well balanced. The audience, for the first time in many moons to-day, were more appreciative than usual, and every act went good. S. K. HODGDON.
