(2) CHAS. T. ALDRICH:- Burlesque magic, character imitations. This man has a lot of new material, with some good tricks. His stuffed dog doing a somersault and throwing and returning the wooden plate over the audience, made quite a h it. The act is novel and he went stronger than ever. Full stage, 23 minutes, 2 shows. DAN QUINLAN & W. KELER MACK:- Dan Quinlan of Minstrel fame and Mack of Monroe & Mack. The act is a-la-Monroe & Mack, on a little better scale, but not as funny. Mack is doing the comedy end of it and gets away with it in good shape. They had a hard spot but managed to hold them and receive as many laughs as any other act on the bill. 18 minutes in one, 2 shows. HILL & SYLVANY:- Man and woman. First appearance here in four years. Trick bicycle riding and one of the best acts of the kind ever seen. Every trick strongly applauded. Big hit. 14 minutes, Full stage. JOHN BIRCH:- "The man with the Hats" in a one-act drama. This man has quite a novel act. He presents a one-act melodrama, impersonating several characters with the use of hats only. Very interesting and received a lot of laughs. His place on the bill was a little strong for him; will keep him here, but change the show around in order to give him a better chance. Drop in one, 13 minutes, 2 shows. BIOGRAPH:-- "Bright Angel Trail": Trourists [Tourists] scene in Arizona, Good, "The Accommodating Magician": Good, "Sports of Old Rome", Gladiator scene, Good, "Baby's Day": Scene in the life of a baby as a two-year old, showing 7 scenes, Good, "In the Face of Death" Automobilists in Florida, Good. S. K. HODGDON.
