TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. Feb. 13, 1905-J. H. Finn, criticism. "WISE MIKE," ED. FOSTER'S DOG This is a good little opening act, but it would not do very well any other place on the bill. 17 in one. CAICEDO This is an exceptionally good wire act, the Mexican performing many difficult feats on the bounding wire. 11 min. F. S. NORA BAYES This singing comedienne went better than ever before. Her dialect is excellent and she appears to have lost considerable of the freshness that characterized her initial appearance here. She receives two and three curtain calls. 11 in one. SAGER MIDGLEY AND GERTIE CARLISLE Presenting "After School." This act is always a hit here. Midgley is certainly an artist in his line and Gertie Carlisle is one of the cutest soubrettes in vaudeville. 20 min. F. S. JAMES J. MORTON This monologist is popular in Detroit but he should bring some new stuff on his next appearance. 15 min. in one. MILTON AND DOLLIE NOBLES Presenting "The Days of '49," supported by Mary Davenport and Allen Bennett. The press spoke highly of both the playlet and the cast. Nobles carries his own scenery. 27 min. F. S. CRANE BROS. Presenting "The Mudtown Minstrels." This act is almost too well known for comment. It went very well with our audiences. 19 in 1. IMPERIAL JAPANESE GUARD This act consists of 20 little Japs who engage in a drill ending with wall scaling. Neither the drill or the wall scaling can be compared to similar acts we have played. 13 min. F. S.
