92 Criticism New York Feb. 20th, 1905. Biograph A New speed Marvel- Showing W. Gould Brokaw's Auto Boat "Challenger" Good Panorama of the main aisle of Westinghouse Works Good Very interesting The Kleptomaniac Rather fakey Good view The Swimming Pool, Palm, Beach, Florida Good John Zimmer Hat and ball manipulator. Received some applause for his ball juggling. Always a valuable act for the three show section. Will arrange to give him a better place. Three shows, nine minutes. Drop in one. Frank Jones and Lillian Walton Full stage, close in one. In a yankee comedy "Our Country Cousin" This act is one long tiresome rural sketch, really no merit, all talk with a couple of laughs. The act will be alright to open the show. Three shows, twenty-four minutes. Drummer Quartette Four colored men, in the singing sketch, entitled "Waiters of the Golden light" The men are pretty fair vocalists. Their material is the same, but they failed to go as well as before. Three shows, full stage, close in one. Fourteen minutes. Reed & Shaw Two young men in a gymnastic exhibition. The act is improved a little. They have a different opening, and do several new tricks. They are alright for an early place in the two a day section. Full stage, three shows, eleven minutes. Misses Delmore. Vocalists and Instrumentalists. Very pleasing act, but failed to make the impression as they have on previous visits. Drop in one, two shows, eighteen minutes. Edmund Day & Co. The act consists of Edmund Day; Robert Watson and Miss Patrice Winston, in a comedy, entitled "The Sheriff", first time here. An excellent vehicle. Contains some good bright lines and many laughs, with a little pathetic ending. Responded to three curtain calls. Full stage, two shows, twenty-five minutes. Village Choir Two men and two women, dressed as farm boys and maids. Straight singing act, each number strongly applauded. Drop in one, two shows, sixteen minutes. Charles Colby and Allie Way The ventriloquist and the dancing doll. First time here in years. Opened rather tame, but got them after a few minutes. A lot of his material is old, but it went with a roar. The act is a big laughing hit. Full stage, two shows, nineteen minutes. Drop in one, two shows, nineteen minutes. Harry Parker's Dogs. Well known. Elegant closing act. Full stage, two shows, nine minutes. S.K. Hodgdon.
