Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Barry, 2 shows, 23 min. open full stage, close in 1 -- This couple belongs in this city and always goes strong with our audiences. Today was no exception, as they went big from start to finish, the closing in one scoring both a laughing and applause hit. Rice and Prevost, 2 shows, 11 min. full stage -- Got a tremendous reception when they came on, and the act was a scream throughout, as last week. Think it will pull through all right the third week a little earlier on the bill. Julian Eltinge, 2 shows, 11 min. opens in 1, closes in 3 -- Next to the preceding team, this young chap got the greatest amount of advance applause. There is no doubt whatever in my mind that he would make good in any vaudeville house in the country, as he is a decidedly talented and graceful performer, and makes a handsome girl. Is responsible for a goodly portion of our business. Marion Garson, 2 shows, 10 min. in 1 -- Girl vocalist, with a really wonderful voice, considering her physique. In this most difficult spot in the show, she made good in a wonderful way and will prove one of the drawing cards during the week. Charles T. Aldrich, 2 shows, 23 min. full stage -- Held the audience remarkably and gave a good act, notwithstanding he had his usual Monday mishap in being mixed with light queues, failure of some of his tricked to work, etc. I do not remember that he ever had an opening that was really smooth. May shift him tomorrow, as it is an awful spot for an act of that kind, but will wait until I see how he goes tonight. Biograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1 -- Showing the following list of pictures: 1. The Boy in the Barrel. Amusing. 2. The Vintage. Interesting. 3. A Lover's Ruse. Mildly funny, appealing to ladies. 4. Petticoat Lane. Interesting and amusing. 5. The Babies and the Rabbits. Appeals particularly to women and children. 6. Whitechapel Sneak Thieves. Fairly interesting in a melodramatic sort of a way. Ferrell Brothers, 3 shows, 12 min. full stage -- in an acrobatic bicycle specialty, one of them working straight and the other as a "Rube." It is a capital act, from the 3-per-day viewpoint, and got a lot of applause in its place on the bill. Comment - The show is a corking good one from start to finish. Like that of last week, it has not a dull nor uninteresting act in it, although it does not offer the number of contrasts and the two holdovers naturally weakened it a trifle when it comes to a matter of comparison. On the whole, however, it made as big a hit as that of last week, the immense and enthusiastic
