98 CRITICISM: NEW YORK SHOW: WEEK FEBRUARY 27th, 1905: JNO. LeCLAIR:- Well known juggler. Act remains the same as seen here before. Pleasing act for an opener. 3 shows, 15 minutes, full stage. BERTHA ALLISON:- Rather disappointed in this young woman; was under the impression she done a few imitations, as before. She sang three songs. Will arrange for the old act. 3 shows, 8 minutes, Drop 1. MLLE. MARTHA:- Trapezist. Very attractive young woman. At the price the best of this character we ever had. Strongly applauded. 2 shows, 13 minutes, Full stage. CARMEN SISTERS:- Banjoists. Pleasing appearance. Good act, nut failed to receive much applause this afternoon. 3 shows, 9 minutes, Drop one. THEO. MORSE TRIO:- Three fairly young men "singers of their own songs". They are fairly good singers, but did not make the impression as on their previous engagement, probably due to the cold audience. Will change the bill around and work this act in one. 2 shows, 15 Mins. full stg. DOLLAR TROUPE:- Five men and one woman-acrobats. Great work. Every trick applauded. 2 shows, 9 minutes, full stage. WYMAN & ROSS:- Two young men- German comedians. They do a good act, and have some new material, but this place is a little too strong. Will get them on a little earlier to-night. 3 shows, 14 minutes, Drop one. MR. & MRS. CRANE:- Presenting the comedy, "Am I Your Wife", which went exceptionally well considering that this is their third trip with this comedy. Should demand a new vehicle before booking again. 26 Mins. 2 shows, full stg DICK LYNCH:- Formerly Lynch & Jewell. This man is all right from the 3-a-day standpoint, but the pace down here is a little too warm for him. Will rearrange the show in order to give him a better chance. He uses the burlesque illustrated songs, which failed to amuse this afternoon. Tells some new stories, and being a little nervous twisted some of his stories. He received some applause on his dancing, which is very good. 3 shows, 17 minutes. Drop ome. KAUFMANN TROUPE:- Bicyclists. Best act of its kind we ever had. Strongly applauded. 13 minutes, 2 shows, Full stage.
