Rice and Prevost, 2 shows, 11 min. full stage - Third and last week for these clever comedy acrobats. Act a scream from start to finish. Believe now, they would run for three weeks more. The scene where Rice falls into the orchestra was simply indescribable, fully one-half of the audience being upon their feet. Albert Chevalier, 2 shows, 25 min. in 1 -- this man got a fair amount of applause when he came on, proving that our advertising had not been wasted, and all his selections were enthusiastically applauded. It could hardly be otherwise, since he is unquestionably the most finished artist who has ever appeared in this house. At the finish he could have sung another selection had he been so minded, but it was probably better that he did not. I think he will work up in great shape. Dan Quinlan and Keller Mack, 2 shows, 16 min. in 1 -- Black and whiteface talking comedians. In this awfully hard spot in the bill they made good, scoring one of the laughing hits of the show. In fact the biggest scream, after Rice and Prevost. Just the sort of act for the spot in the bill. Lots of laughs but finished flat. The Four Huntings, 2 shows, 17 min. full stage -- Excellent comedy sketch, with dancing, singing and acrobatic specialties, "A Night in the Fool House." Will make a first rate closing act at night. Secured laughs all through and won lots of applause at the finish. Biograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1 -- Showing the following list of pictures: 1. Trials of an Automobilist. Very funny, scored almost as much of a hit as any act on the bill. 2. Russian Soldiers Being Hurried to the Front. Interesting. 3. The Countryman and the Conjurer. Quite funny; got a lot of laughs. 4. "Love me, Love my Dog." Interesting especially for ladies and children. 5. Fireworks Exhibit. Won a lot of applause; is a really great picture, splendidly colored. 6. Tit for Tat. Very funny. One of the best lists of pictures we have had for several months; on the whole, equal to almost any comedy act on the bill. Chick, 3 shows, 10 min. full stage -- Comedy bicyclist, presenting some new stunts, although his funmaking is not original. In this place in the bill, went splendidly. Hoyt and Waller, 3 shows, 15 min. in 1 -- I will quote my criticism of August 22, 1904, which applies now with added emphasis: "Man and woman in foolish conversation and poor vocalist. Poor act from any standpoint, we can easily do without them." I did not know the act was booked.
