110 TEMPLE THEATRE DETROIT, MICHIGAN WEEK OF MAR. 6, 1905 SIX PERI SISTERS These young and rather comely girls appear in a singing and dancing act, which is beautifully dressed. Is up to the average acts of this kind and although it opened the show, made a distinct hit. 14 mins. F. S. BABY OWEN & COMPANY: The "Co." consists of Baby Owen's mother. This child is about eight years old, and is just what it is billed "A remarkable child artist". 20 mins. in one. MILLS & MORRIS: Two girls in blackface minstrel act which is full of life and ginger. The voices of the girls fit the characters. The act went very strong. 11 mins. in one. THE GREAT LAFAYETTE: In his act of legerdemain and his travesty on noted musical directors was a tremendous hit. The latter was presented in conjunction with his band. Nothing better for vaudeville could be imagined than this act. 38 mins. F S. CHRYSTAL HERNE & CO.: Presenting "Between The Acts". Miss Herne is assisted by Annie willard and Albert Andrus, indifferent actors. While Miss Herne was very strong in emotional scene and would, no doubt, be a hit in the proper vehicle. The one she has is too talky and consequently did not go well here. 20 mins. F. S. JOHN & HARRY DILLON: comedians and parodists. This act went very strong as these Brothers brought considerable new stuff and delivered it in an excellent manner. 19 mins. in one. GREAT LAFAYETTE: In "Peral of Bhutan". Looking at this as a spectacular production it is a fine act, but as the story is unfolded by pantomime it is absolutely necessary to have a synopsis of the story on the programme, otherwise it would be hard for the audience to fully understand it. 16 mins. F. S.
