Report on show, Keith's Theatre, Providence, R. I., week of March 13, 1906. (Chas. Lovenberg, Manager.) While the show this week is a good one and should be accepted as satisfactory, it hardly compares with the bill of last week and didn't seem to make a very great hit with the audience; possibly will play better tonight. The three a day acts are somewhat off and that usually hurts the afternoon show more than it does the evening performance. Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Young. In a rural comedy sketch which is only fair. 14 min. in 3, can close in one, 3 shows. Acker & Gilday. This is a very very very bad act. 12 min. in one, 3 shows. National Trio. Three young men who perform some really very good feats on the rings, many of them as good as some of the big ring acts we have played are, but their appearance and manner is against them and they lack finish, but from a three a day standpoint it is exceptionally good. 10 min. full stage, 2 shows. Slater & Williams. Two colored men who do a fairly good singing, dancing and talking specialty. 11 min. in one, 3 shows. Theodore Morse Trio. These men sing their own compositions (of the popular style of songs) and received considerable applause-mostly from up-stairs. While it is a good act - I must agree with Boston, that they belong in the three a day crowd. 13 min. in 3. The act could be done in one, 2 shows. LeRoy & Woodford. Talking act, the woman being a "feeder" for the man, who is an exceptionally unctuous comedian and has considerable new material. Very good act for the early two a day section 16 min. in one, 2 shows. Pauline Hall. Of course we don't expect any great things from Miss Hall, on the stage. We pay her her money to draw the people in and this being her first time here, I think she will do it. She makes good, decidedly better than Della Fox, who got more money, and I think will draw fully as well if not better. She is a picture in her last song in tights, and all in all I am satisfied to have played her now, although I wouldn't care to repeat. 11 min. in one, 2 shows. Mason-Keeler Company. In an exceptionally good comedy sketch which is entirely out of the ordinary and was thoroughly appreciated by the audience. 21 min. in 3, 2 shows. Spook Minstrels. This act is well known and description is unnecessary. They went very well, in the early part of their act, (although the audience seemed to be afraid to applaud,) evidently fearing to break into the action, but they listened with great interest and attention.) They got a big round on the finish of the Biograph portion and went exceptionally strong with their songs in front of the curtain. 26 min. in 1, 2 shows. Chas. T. Aldrich. I wish to commend this man for the energy and ambition which he shows in always giving something new in his act. He is thoroughly artistic and I
