119 TEMPLE THEATRE, DETROIT, MICH., Week. Mar. 13, 1905. HARPER, DESMOND & BAILEY : (Colored) Two women and a man in comedy singing and dancing. There are many better colored acts on the stage better than this. 16 mins. in one. RAWSON & JUNE: Australian boomerang throwers. This novelty act has played the circuit so often that comment is unnecessary. 10 mins. F. S. S. GREENE & WERNER: Man and woman presenting "Babes in the Jungle". This is a good act, opening in one goes to Full Stage. 14 mins. GALLAGHER & BARRETT: This travest act is also too well known to require comment. While it is good we would hardly care to play it again for some time to come. 14 mins. 3. 4 in one. MARY NORMAN: Presenting her new monologue "Masks and Faces". While Miss Norman is exceptionally clever actress and has a voice of wonderful clearness, she does not possess even a slight degree of that great requisite to vaudeville, Magnetism. She goes very strong here with the more intelligent portions of the audience. 19 mins. F. S. TOBY CLAUDE: Miss Claude is of absolutely of no account in a single turn in vaudeville. Her voice is very bad and although she draws very well here, we cannot recommend her. If she had a background of four or five pretty girls she would be a good topliner. 15 in one. McWATTERS & TYSON: Presenting their all musical spectacle "Vaudeville". This act has been somewhat improved since its last appearance here and the hit they made was most pronounced. 20 mins. F. S. KITAMURA JAPS: This is as a good a Jap act as any in the business. 24 mins. F. S. JIU JITSU: These four Japanese athletes gave a very interesting and scientific illustrations of the Japanese method of self defense. It is a great deal better act than we expected and we highly recommend it. 8 mins. F. S.
