139 CRITICISM - - CLEVELAND, O. - - APRIL 3, 1905. KIT KOSTER, Slack Wire Artist. This is a fair act for an early spot on the bill. The novelty of the act is the shooting specialty on the wire. Time 8 minutes full stage. FORD SISTERS, Clog Dancers. An extra good act, and is going well. Time 10 minutes in 2. MR. & MRS. PERKINS FISHER, in a sketch entitled "The Half-Way House" This act is just going fair. They have been seen here so much that it's about time Mr. Fisher was digging up something new. Time 21 minutes full stage. Special scenery. ERNEST HOGAN. He's doing about the poorest act of any of the colored acts I've played this winter, and is certainly not worth the money he's getting. His stuff is poor and is not going very well. Time 18 minutes in 1. MARCO TWINS, Grotesque Comedians. This act is going very good, although it is short, only runs about 8 minutes full stage. ALBERT CHEVALIER. No criticism necessary. There is no doubt whatever but what his characters are not known very well through this section. The afternoon audience didn't appreciate him at all, in fact, they couldn't see his stuff. In the evening, however, he went much better. He's been the best advertised head-liner that ever appeared in this city and how much business we'll do remains to be seen. He is using 5 songs, and is doing about 25 minutes. "A NIGHT IN VENICE" TRIO. This is a good singing act, which is the best part of it. The special set that they carry is in very poor condition, and we were obliged to Keep the lights down on that account. The act runs about 15 minutes, with 2 or 3 minutes in 1. MLLE. MARTHA, Gymnast. A very good act, and is making quite a hit. Time 12 minutes full stage. AMERICAN BIOGRAPH. I'm using two films. One, "The Artist and the Musician" fair, and the other one "The Ex-Convict" good. They run about 10 minutes. L. M. EIRICK.
