157 GRAND OPERA HOUSE APRIL 17th, 05. PITTSBURG, PA. SPISSEL BROS. & MACK-Comedy acrobatic act entitled "Scenes in a Cafe" 10 minutes, full stage. This is a very good act and going very big here, one of the best laughing acts that we have played. MONROE, MACK & LAWRENCE "THe Two Senators", full stage, interior. This is a rough comedy sketch which seems to please. TOBY CLAUDE- "Vest pocket comedienne" 12 minutes in one. Miss Claude is doing very well with us and we consider her a very good act. HENRY MILLER & CO. in "Frederick Lemaitre" 30 minutes, full stage. Assisted by Frank Willard and Laura Hope Crewes. This is a very good sketch and very well done, the work of Mr. Miller being much better than that which we are in the habit of seeing in vaudeville. I am sure that he is going to improve our business. ZARA & STETSON- Whirlwind baton manipulators-10 minutes, full stage. 3 shows. Does very well for a three a day act. BRAZIL & BRAZIL- 3 shows, 12 minutes. Comedy acrobatic kid act. Just about gets away in the three a day section. JOHN LECLAIR-Juggler. 15 minutes, full stage-garden. One of the best three a day acts in the business. LEIGH BROS. Head balancers. 12 minutes, full stage. this is a fairly good act-does very well about 8:10. CHAS. MILDARE-Whistler and mimic. 9 minutes. This is undoubtedly the best act of the kind in the business. RICH & HARVEY-3 shows. Black face singing and dancing act. 15 minutes. About as good as any I would want to see. BOB & GEORGE Quigley 17 minutes in one. "Congressman at Large" This is their second appearance this season and are going very big. I consider it one of the best acts in the business. John P. Harris.
