SAM ELTON,- Full stage. Two shows. Ten minutes. It was some few minutes before he had them with him. He finally got them laughing and carried their attention until the finish. His funny falls caught the house. LILLIAN SHAW,- Vocal Dialect Comedienne. Drop in one. Two shows; Fourteen minutes. Received quite a number of laughs on her monologue. Her impersonations went very well. Very good act. MASON & KEELER,- Two men and woman, presenting the comedy "Hooked by Crook," First time here. Very well presented. Laugh from the start to finish. Two curtain calls. Very good act. Full stage. Two shows; Twenty minutes. BASQUE QUARTETTE,- Three men and woman. Operatic selections. Each selection strongly applauded. Great vocalists. Went exceptionally strong. Drop in one; Two shows: Ten minutes. THREE CASTRILLONS,- Man and two boys, genuine Cubans. First American appearance. Work in full dress. This act was little nervous this afternoon, being their first engagement after landing here on Thursday, after having spent thirty days on the water. They made a few slips. Every trick was strongly applauded, and I think, without doubt, it is going to be the strongest acrobatic act ever seen on any stage. They do tricks never attempted by anybody else. Full stage; Twelve minutes. PRESS ELDRIDGE,- This man has very little new monologue. His parodies are the same as before. He was quite late going on but managed to hold them - secured his usual number of laughs. Drop in one. Two shows. Twenty minutes. MONROE, MACK and LAWRENCE,- Two men and woman, present the farce, "Two Senators." Monroe has a new man in the act who I think is superior to his former partner. It was quite late when they got on and they managed to hold them until the finish. The act went fully as strong as before, although it is the third presentation.
