163 CRITICISM - - CLEVELAND, O. - - APRIL 24th. DELPHINO & DELMORA, European Grotesque Musicians. This is just a fair act, and about strong enough to open a show with. Their playing on a few instruments is not much good. There is a little comedy in the act of the European order. Opens in full stage 11 minutes, closes 3 minutes in one. ANNIE ABBOT, "The Little Georgia Magnet" This act has played Cleveland before. Still, it made a good impression. It created a lot of talk, and no doubt draws some business. Time 21 minutes full stage. SABEL JOHNSON, Vocalist. Her second appearance here this season. She is going better this time than she did the first time. She has some different songs that please. Those she had here the first time our people didn't like. 12 minutes in one. MR. HENRY MILLER & CO. in Clyde Fitch's playlet "Frederic Lemaitre". This is without doubt the best acted playlet that has ever been in vaudeville. It contains a little comedy and lots of pathos, and made a tremendous hit here. I cannot say enough in praise of this little production. It runs 30 minutes full stage. Mr. Miller will no doubt draw a lot of money. CLIFF GORDON, "The German Politician" His first appearance in this house, and he did very well. Time 15 minutes in 1. THE THREE MAREENAS, Novelty Acrobats. A very good act composed of three men, one of them doing a little comedy work. The acrobatic and comedy stuff both good, and it is really one of the best of the small acrobatic acts I've played this season. Time 12 minutes full stage, with 3 minutes in one. PAT ROONEY & MARION BENT, Singing & Dancing Specialty. These people have a pretty good act. The dancing of Pat Rooney of course, is the principle part of it. there's quite a little comedy in it, also a little piano playing by Marion Bent, in fact it consists of a little of everything, all well done. Open in full stage, 16 minutes, close about 5 minutes in one. HOWARD'S PONIES & DOGS. His act is quite a little improved from what it was in the early part of the season. He carries his own scenery and has his wife in the act. He is using practically the same animals that he's had before. It's a good act for ladies and children, and is going well. time 18 minutes full stage. AMERICAN BIOGRAPH. I am running two films - "Baby's Day" and "In the Face of Death" Both are good films. L. M. EIRICK.
