181 New York Criticism: May 22nd,1905. Wm. La Belle Comedy Tramp Juggler. Substituted this man for Archie Onri at the last minute. Uses Cigar boxes, hoops & etc. Secured a number of laughs and some applause, for his work. At the price H.R. an excellent opening act. Three shows full stage, fourteen minutes. Walter Daniels. Impersonations of characters portrayed by well known artists. All of his work was appreciated. Always goes well here and is a pleasing little act for the three a day section. Musical Bells. Two men doing a straight musical act. Playing various bells, accordions and etc. Very pleasing musical number, rather refined and valuable for the three show section. Full stage, close in one, fourteen minutes. Morton, Temple and Morton Man, boy and girl. Thought this act was a comedy acrobatic act, but it is an old time rough singing and dancing sketch, with a little acrobatic work. The girl is fairly good looking, while the man and boy are rather rough. They work as if they had thrown the act together in a few minutes. It is alright for an opener. Full stage, close in one, fifteen minutes. It just about passes in this place, will change them up further to-night. Mrs. John Fox, Jr., Willard Hutchinson & Co., The company consists of Mrs. John Fox, Willard Hutchinson and man and woman in the comedy entitled "Advise" This act was booked merely for the advertising as Mrs. Fox is well known socially. As an actress Mrs. Fox just about gets out, outside of Hutchinson the company doesn't amount to anything. The act is alright for the circuit in an early place, it is interesting throughout and contains many laughs. Full stage nineteen minutes. (over-page) ....and was the hit of the show. Twenty-three minutes in one, own drop, two shows. Meehan's Dogs Very pretty act. Dogs nicely trained. Received a big lot of applause throughout. Fifteen minutes, two shows.
