194 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. JUNE 12-J. H. Finn. BROS. DAMM-This is a good, little acrobatic act and went well in opening the performance. 7 min. F. S. MISS MATTIE LOCKETTE-Just a fair child impersonation act. It appeared to please the matinee audience more than the evening. 11 in one. FRANK C. YOUNG & BESSIE DE VOIE-The neatest dancing act of the season at this theater. This "team" separate at the close of this engagement, and Young doubles with Miss Georgie Warner who assumes the name of Kathleen De Voie. 7 min. F. S. 5 in two. PATRICE & CO.-The support of Patrice is not up to the standard but nevertheless "A New Year's Dream" was well received. Her billing matter left the impression that she carried two men but in the act she used a stage hand which spoiled the effect. 17 min. F. S. CHARLES KENNA-Presenting his old act "The Fakir." Mr. Kenna's voice was very bad. He complained that Michigan atmosphere always does things to his voice. It was very cloudy to say the least, just as if he suffered with swollen glands. 19 min. in two. EDWARD BLONDELL & CO.-Blondell was the hit of the show, and his act proved to be as big a laughing hit as any we have played this season. His support was excellent. 22 min. F. S. QUIGLEY BROS.-As these excellent entertainers brought no new material their act fell rather flat when compared with their first reception at this theater. 19 min. in one. THREE CASTRILLIONS-A very good but rather ungraceful acrobatic act. it closed a bill that is only fair.
