200 Criticism New York June 26th,1905. Coughlin Novel Electric Club Manipulator. Novelty of this act is worn off. Merely a pretty sight act and fair opener. Received very little applause. Nine minutes in full stage three shows. Henry & Francis Man and woman. Singing, dancing and talking comedy. This man's singing does'nt amount to much, his dancing just lets him out. Only a fair act for an early place. Thirteen minutes in one, three shows. Dave Nowlin Vocalist and Imitations. Has a lot of new material. Received a big lot of laughs. The act is alright if on before 8:30. Fourteen minutes in one, three shows. White & Simmons "Get in de band wagon" Well known. Went fully as strong as before. Seventeen minutes in two, three shows. Susie Fisher "Female Baritone" Splendid voice, although never went strong here. No applause on the first song, received very little on the finish. Eight minutes in one, three shows. Majestic Musical Four Four men, three working full dress, the other eccentric. The act is similar to Waterburg Brothers and Tenny, but not the musicians by any means. They attempt some singing which is very bad, will arrange to cut it out. Had a discord in the Saxaphone solo. A little overpaid for the act presented to-day. Nineteen minutes, close in one about 3 minutes, two shows. Ned Nye and the Constantine Sisters Nye has a most remarkable voice, and several very good grosteque dancing steps. The girls make an excellent appearance, very clever and hard workers. Nye secures several good laughs talking to the girls while dancing on the style of Donohue and Nichols. The act is novel and went very strong at both performances, taking three bows to-night. Seventeen minutes, with about four minutes in one, two shows. [Raule?] Valadon Rather disappointed in this man as a feature. He is alright at the price. Some of his work is very clever, while some tricks are badly executed. He makes a pretty fair appearance, but a very bad talker. Some of his small stuff I have seen handled better by ordinary three a day magicians. Received very little applause on his finish. Twenty-four minutes, full stage, two shows. Taylor Holmes Young man. Imitations of well known artists. Makes an excellent appearance. Caught the house on his opening with a stuttering song. Some of the imitations are very clever. Received the biggest lot of applause up to this time. Sixteen minutes in one, two shows. (page underneath)...on both the performers and the audience, therefore it is impossible to get a line as to the true value of the acts. The show is good throughout, several new faces, with plenty of novelty. Taylor Holmes; Matthews and Ashley and Mosher, Houghton and Mosher scored the biggest laughing hits.
