209 4 New York Criticism July 10th,1905. Joe Edmunds Eccentric character comedian. This man's material is very ancient, his singing only fair, he just about fits in this place. Thirteen minutes in one, three shows. Madeline Diston Singing comedienne. This woman's voice does'nt amount too very much, her selections were very bad. Her closing burlesque German song just about saves her. Eleven minutes in one, three shows. The Beanos "The Contortionist and the Clown" Man and woman, who do some pretty fair contortion work. The act is alright for an early place. Fifteen minutes, full stage, three shows. Hawthorne and Burt Two men, Hebrew comedians. One straight and the other in character. First time here. The Kalmos Novel dancers. Very pleasing dancing act. Ten minutes full stage, three shows. Barry & Wolford Man and woman, vocalists and conversational comedians. Twenty-nine minutes, with five minutes in one, two shows. Brothers Damm Eccentric Acrobats. These boys are working without the wall and basket, using a plain stage. The set is alright and I think fully as good. Eight minute full stage.
