212 PHILADELPHIA SHOW, JULY 17TH'05. 7 H.T. JORDAN. CHAS. & ADA KAIMO-KR-3- Man and woman, in Scoth and Irish dances etc., each dance being done in appropriate costume. Both are pretty good dancers and act is all right for early bill. 10 mins. Gar. in 2. JOE. EDMONDS--3HR- This young man calls himself an eccentric comedian. He is eccentric all right but that lets him out. His singing is bad and his talk but little better. Just got by in this place. 12 mins. in 1. BARR & EVANS-FR-3-Man and woman in same act they play so often at this house. Got quite a lot of laughs and seemed to please. All right for early bill, but should wait about a year for return. 16 mins. C.D.F. 3 FERGUSON & WATSON --KR3- Two men, one working straight, the other eccentric. These boys gave us a good act to-day and pleased our audience Good act if not on too late. 16mins. in 1. GREGORY & WOODS-KR-3- Two men. This act at the best is only a fair three-a-day and this after-noon was very ragged. None of the work is out of the ordinary and consequently fell flat to-day. They will go better if on earlier. 15 mins. Gar. 3 THE BAILEYS--KR-3- Man and woman colored. Not the same act we have played before, the woman being new and a very poor singer and dancer. Just got by to-day until the shadow dance at the finish which went fairly well. 13 mins. in 1. Spec. in 1. Mirret and Close-GHR-2- Two men in high class selections on the violin and piano. Both men are artists and each number was warmly applauded. Would make us a good act in the season. Applause hit up to 3 apparently written for laughing purposes only and with that and in view is a success. The laughter this after-noon was practically innocent and Miss Mor is gained frequent applause during the action of the day play. Naughty good act. 18mins. F in 3. BEN WELCH--GHR-2- Hebrew comedian. For our audience this amn is as good as his brother Joe. The laughter and applause hit of the show. Went very strong indeed. 16 mins. in 1.
