225 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. Aug. 7.-1905.-J. H. Finn. MR. AND MRS. SIDNEY DREW- Presenting "When Two Hearts are Won." A capital playlet capitally acted. One of the very few first-class playlets in vaudeville. Mr. and Mrs. Drew are the best players in vaudeville. 20 min. F. S. WILLY ZIMMERMAN-- Impersonating noted musical composers. Zimmerman is an artist to his finger tips, and everyone of his impersonations was great. 20 min. F. S. DOROTHY RUSSELL - This daughter of Lillian Russell cannot sing-otherwise she is all right. She is pretty ad winsome and got a big hand at the finish. Miss Russell desired to have a man, accompanied by a woman, sing to her from one of the boxes but the management would not permit it. 13 min. in one. GEORGE WILSON- This minstrel man made a big hit this time which is in direct contrast to what he did when last here. He has considerable new material and never appeared to better advantage. 20 min. in one. MALLORY BROS., BROOKS & HALLIDAY-- Two colored men and two colored women in vocal and instrumental selections. One of the best acts of this kind ever seen here. 13 FS 6 in one. MULLEN & CORELLI- Comedy acrobatic act. This act opened our show but would have been better further down in the show as it is a very good act, much stronger than the majority of acts of this kind. 11 min. F. S. JOHN & BERTHA [RICH?]-- This singing and dancing act is not up to standard, but may do for an opening act on a strong bill. 11 min. in one. BURTON'S COMEDY AND ACROBATIC DOGS-- This is not the best dog act in vaudeville by a long ways, but the leaping greyhounds made a hit with the audience. 8 min. FS. KINETOGRAPH- "Stolen by Gypsies" is a good film.
