Boston Show, Week of Aug. 21, 1905.

Mooney and Holbein, 3 shows, 17 min. open in 3, close in 1 -- Well-known on the circuit. Can be considered a good 3-a-day act for this house.

LaRoses, 3 shows, 3 shows, 12 min. full stage -- Man and woman, on the tight wire. Quite a clever little act, above the average merit in the 3-a-day section. Got a good hand for this time.

Herbert Brooks, 3 shows, 16 min. open in 1, close full stage -- Card manipulator, introducing a remarkable trunk trick. Well-known over the circuit. Card manipulation nothing out of the ordinary, but the trunk trick is all right and secured a good hand for him.

Alf Holt, 3 shows, 12 min. in 1-- Mimetic comedian and whistler. Quite a clever entertainer in his life, and a good act for the 3-a-day division.

Comment - The show, as a whole, is a good one. Gilbert and Gallagher and Barrett went far better this evening than this afternoon. Hilliard's sketch will create no end of talk about town, and we should do good business both on that account, and it being the last week for the orchestra.
In spite of a perfect out-of-doors summer day, we had a good audience this afternoon and near to capacity this evening.
