235 NEW YORK CRITICISM CONTINUED AUG. 28th, 1905. Wm. Bonelli & Co Full stage, twenty minutes. Presenting the comedy "The Pink Widow" This man is not giving us the same people as he rehearsed, although the new members are fully capable. Greatly surprised the way this comedy went, fully one hundred percent better than the trial performance. The lines are bright, the business funny and the laughs were many. Before the week is out it will whip into a strong comedy. Received two curtains calls on to the finish. Cliff Gordon Drop in one, Twenty minutes. As usual this man was the applause hit of the show up to this time. The Great Lafayette Full stage, thirty-two minutes. Presenting impersonations of noted musical directors. This man made a big hit in this act, getting applause after each impersonation and tremendous applause on his finish. Never heard such noise in the Union Square before. One big hit, nothing can follow him on this programme. Biograph Twenty minutes. Mr, Kanyouspellit and his airship Good Playmates Good The Gay Washerwomen Fair comedy The Wonderful Album (2nd, week) Good Modern Bringands Automobile holdup, chasing picture Very Good.
