19 19 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. MAY 21, 1906. MUULLEN & CORNELLI furnish an ordinary comedy acrobatic act that is just about strong enough to open with. 11 min. F. S. JACOB'S DOGS, three fox terriers, look and act as if they had been trained with a whip. The act is of the most ordinary kind, and I wouldn't like to see it come back. 11 min. in three. THE QUAKER CITY QUARTET has two new members, and is not nearly as good as when last here. 17 min. F. S. Close in one 8 min. THREE SELDOMS repeated their former success at this theater, This is a very strong act of its kind. 10 min. F. S. MELANI TRIO presented the same act as heretofore but as usual their selections were warmly received. 13 min. in one. MARGARET WYCHERLY in the protean drama "In Self Defence," made a most profound impression. She has all the earmarks of a successful vaudeville star. 27 min. F. S. CLIFF GORDON brought us about the same material as before but nevertheless he was given a fine reception. 15 min. in one. THE PICCHIANI TROUPE of acrobats, five women and three men, has a finely costumed act but the acrobatic stunts are not above the ordinary found in first-class vaudeville theaters. 8 min. F. S. THE KINETOGRAPH pictures of the Valley of Eosopus are very fine.
