36 Temple theater, Detroit, Mich., June 11, 1906. Allen & Dalton opened our bill with an old-time comedy musical act in blackface that appeared to catch the fancy of the audience. 16 min. F. S. Can close in one. Post & Russell gave us a fair comedy acrobatic act. It is somewhat different from the usual talking act and for that reason it got by in pretty good shape. 17 min. in one. Coin's dog pantomime repeated it[s] former big success at this theater. The dogs working better than on their former appearance and were enthusiastically applauded. 9 min. F. S. Sabel Johnson is om good voice and has a fine selection of songs and gowns. 9 min. in one. The Six Glinserettis worked uncertain at our first show making several misses, but it is one of the best acrobatic acts playing this house. 7 min. F. S. Irving Jones was one of the big hits of the bill. His best song is the old one "St. Patrick's Day is a Bad Day for Coons." He received three curtain calls at both the afternoon and night performances. 16 min. in one. Gus Edwards "School Boys and School Girls", built persumably [presumably] for the purpose of exploiting Edwards songs, comprises five boys and five girls, all quite young. It is in two scenes, the interior and exterior of a school. This act is hardly in the headline class as the voices are only fair and the comedy is of the juvenile brand. 20 min. F. S. 5 in one. Palfrey & Hoefler, formerly Palfrey & Barton, have a comedy bicycle act that is not much above the ordinary. 9 min. F. S.
