39 3. GEO. NEVILLE & COMPANY, "A Cold Deal":- 20 min. F. S. 3 shows. This act deals with a man masquerading as a woman to please a friend whose wife is absent, in order that they may go to a French ball. The wife turns up inopportunely and the masquerader hidden in an ice-box. The struggle of the husband to keep his wife in ignorance, and the efforts of the man in the ice-box to get out furnishing laughing material which is of the rougher order. It is O.K. as placed on the bill, but it is not worthy of a better position. These clever people ought to have better vehicle to exploit their talents. GENERAL REMARKS;- This is a good show and a bad show in spots There are features which are not up to the standard by any means, but the saving grace is in MISS VIRGINIA EARL and two or three other features on the bill which are of the best. By transposition we can try the least desirable features and bring out the most ones more prominently As the week wears on the rough points of the show will be smoothed down and will win out O.K. with the kind of weather we have been having,-- to-day, for instance, the show was jammed to the doors, and if "Keith-weather" continues, it will be a big week. Revised time-schedule:-- Geo. Neville & Co....6.45 Miles & Rickards...7.05 Ed. Estus...7.19 Keith's Orchestra...7.28 Jas. Kiernan & Co....7.32 Harry Evans...7.53 Mr. & Mrs. P. Fisher...8.03 Mills & Morris...8.23 Sisters Amoros...8.35 Harry Davenport...8.45 Virg. Earl & Co...8.57 Miss Kastron...9.25 Three Seldoms...9.35 Orpheus Comedy Four...9.45 Tony Wilson & Heloise...10.05 Kinetograph...10.15 --- 10.30.
