44 TEMPLE THEATRE, DETROIT, MICH., JUNE 18. J. H. Finn. SHUNGOPAVI is a genuine Moki Indian. He has a monologue descriptive of his race. He does some ample feats of magic, and is withal interesting and novel. He held the stage 26 min. at the first show but will be cut down to about 18. He can finish in one. Frank Byron & Louise Langdon held down this spot very acceptably with their comedy offering "The Dude Detective." 21 min. F. S. CHARLOTTE RAVENSCROFT received three curtain calls after her vocal efforts and violin solos. She has considerable magnetism, a good voice and handles the violin like a Kubelic. 10 min. in one. Arthur McWatters and Grace Tyson brought two new girls with them and the girls are not at all acceptable. I think the facial contortions of Grace Tyson hurts the act very much, if such an act can be hurt. But the audience applauded - and thats [that's] the answer. 21 min. F. S. CHARLEY CASE brought us just a little bit of new stuff but nevertheless he went as big as he ever went before and that is saying a great deal for he is quite a favorite in this theater. 16 min. in one. THE FOUR FORDS are without question the greatest dancers now before the public. Both the women and the men were almost given an ovation by the audience Monday afternoon, and at night they simply made a terrific hit. 13 min. F. S. TOM BROWN AND SIREN NEVARRO had a very tough spot following the Fords but they negotiated it all right. The act is the same as heretofore. 14 min. in one. FLOOD BROTHERS scored very big. They have added considerable to their act and now have one of the best comedy acrobatic acts that ever appeared here. 9 min. F. S. KINETOGRAPH--"The Truant Kids," in an exceptionable good "chase" picture that would go big in any theater. Comment-This is one of the best summer shows ever put together for this theater. It moves bright and snappy, and every act appears to be a hit with the audience.
