40 3:- KINETOGRAPH:- THE WATCH DOG:- A good running series of French comedy. OLYMPIC GAMES AT ATHENS:- This is a splendid film and full of general interest from start to finish, starting with one of the best films of King Edward ever seen. It could be twice as long and hold the interest right to the end. TROUBLES OF A FIREMAN:- This is a picture of the life of a New York fireman. It is full of action and with the inevitable hero. Altogether the KINETOGRAPH feature is above average. HARRY BROWN & DE LORES, Singer and Cartoonist:- 18 min. F. S. 3 shows. Woman makes good appearance and sings quite well. Man accompanies her work with colored chalk, and the act was therefore quite novel. A very fair 3-a-day feature. GENERAL REMARKS:- This show does not turn out as well as expected. It may pull up better later, but there was such a distinct slump in two or three of the acts, mainly Miss Wainwright, that if it gets by for the remainder of the week, we will consider ourselves fortunate. As a Winter bill, with packed houses, it would not do, as the press and the public would let us know. It promises to be a light week for our business, unless rain should keep in town the people who go to the parks.
