(2) coons now in vaudeville. Made more than good in this spot. Could have sung another song, as the audience wanted more. Harndin's Electrical Ballet, "Starlight": On at 3.57, 7 min, full stage. Must be seen to be fully appreciated. It fairly took the breath away from this afternoon's audience. The most beautiful electrical effects ever seen on the American vaudeville stage. Works up to a climax that won four curtain calls this afternoon. A wonderful first performance. Is bound to make talk, and lots of it. Kinetograph: On at 4.04, 20 min. This week's pictures are: "Scenes on the River Thames, where the Havard and Cambridge crews met". A timely film and quite interesting. The first part showing several crews on the river, the last of it showing the house-boats and the great number of small boats that are always present during the regatta. "Carpet Beating is Dangerous", a very fair comic film, but not anything extraordinary. Butterfly Catching", another of the same class. "Two Brave Children"; this is rather fakey, and has no particular merit. Richard Bros: On at 4.24, 10 min, full stage. A combination high-bar and ring act, One of the acrobats doing straight and the other comedy. A little out of the ordinary, very good act for an early spot on almost any bill. Stereopticon: On at 4.34. Views this week of Sweden. Comment: A very pleasing show, and the only improvement that could be made in it would be to have a stronger act in 1, in place of the Four Colleens. This evening's bill will run as follows: Kinetograph, 6.09 Rado & Bortman, 6.34 Steropticon, 6.51 Texarkana & Walby 7.11 Zara & Stetson, 7.24 Pongo & Leo 7.34 Willie Weston, 7.45 Richard Bros., 8.00 Mabelle Adams, 8.11 Berzac's Circus, 8.23 Four Colleens, 8.37 Cressy & Dayne, 8.50 Morrow & Schellberg, 9.12 Reynard, 9.20 Avery & Hart, 9.48 Harndin's Ballet, 10.08 Kinetograph, 10.15
