127 TEMPLE THEATRE, DETROIT, MICHIGAN. Week of October, 1st, 1906 Quigg, Mackey and Nickerson. Comedy Musical Act. on the style of the Waterbury Bros. and Tenny. This is a very ordinary act, the comedy being bad and nothing especially attractive in the music. Would not care to play them again. 20 minutes F. S. Closing 5 minutes in one. Marsella and Millay. European Comedy Bar Act. While they show no new tricks on the bars their work was thoroughly appreciated by our audiences, the comedy being better than is usually handed out by Foreign Acts. Their Burlesque Wrestling kept the people laughing all the way through. A very good act for the money. 9 minutes F. S. The Holdsworths. Man and woman- singing, dancing and banjo playing. A very acceptable offering. 13 minutes in one. J. K. Murray & Clara Lane. Presenting a little sketch which serves to introduce their singing which went very well. 17 minutes F. S. Ray Cox: This lady shows great improvement since her last appearance here and held down this spot on the bill in good shape. 16 minutes in one. Chas. E. Evans & Co. In their comedy sketch "It's up to you, William". This is one of the best laughing acts we ever played. The five people in the act are all clever and the act was greatly liked. 27 minutes F. S. Jas J. Morton. Going about as strong as ever. 15 minutes in one. Kita Banzai Japs. This is the best Jap act we play. Went as well as before. 18 minutes F. S. Kinetograph: Arabian Magician- very good. French Automobile Races- Very good.
