KINETOGRAPH:-
THE PIGEON LOFTS:- Rather interesting series, showing thousands of squab flying about, and making a very pretty picture.
NURSE WANTED:- Comedy running series that is patterned somewhat after the late popular hit, "Personal".
KINETOGRAPH feature just about gets by, but will not create any particular comment.
GENERAL REMARKS:- The first half of this show ran rather slowly, but from the time that CULLEN went on to the close of the show there was abundance of everything that makes for a good show and a big money's worth.
The BEAUMONT sketch is perhaps the weakest spot on the bill, but Frank Howe, the backer, assures us that it will pull up much stronger during the week.
As for the HARNDIN BALLET too much cannot be said in praise of it, and it will undoubtedly draw big business to the house. We have billed it pretty strong and are very fortunate to have it for two weeks.
The weather is ideal for show business and the houses are big.
