CONTINUED. JOHN D. GILBERT--- This man has a very good up-to-date monologue that went a great deal better than several monologues we have had at a much higher figure. 13 minutes in one. K[illegible] BROTHERS---One in Bell Boy Costume and the other straight. Another big hit. Very difficult feats done easily, and they really have good comedy. The head work is good, and the finish of the act is a corker. A unique act that will be talked about. 1[illegible] minutes, full stage. CRESSY & DATNE--"IN GRASPING AN OPPORTUNITY." Big advance applause. This clever sketch went very well, and all of Mr. Cressy's bright sayings made a hit. I don't think it is quite as funny as Town Hall To-night, but the audience seemed to enjoy it. 20 minutes, full stage. Their own scenery. QUIGLEY BROTHERS-- Two men in a political sketch called "Election Day." These men did not go as well as I expected. It was a hard spot to fill, and they failed to get much laughter, however I will wait until to-night before making a change in places, as they may not have been at their best, but I am afraid the sketch is no good. 18 minutes, full stage. SPESSARDY'S BEARS--- This act did not go quite as well as usual, owing to two or three of the animals being in bad humor. However the finish was good and funny, and went fairly well with the audience. [13? 15?] minutes, full stage. MOTION PICTURES--"Stealing the Tomatoes." Very funny. The Troubadour, bad will change. Mother-in-Law. This is a very funny film and the audience screamed. NOTE--- The start and finish of this show are very weak, but thanks to the strength of the "Middle" Acts and the Hungarian Band the audience seemed satisfied. Lindsay Morison.
