160 TEMPLE THEATER, Detroit, Mich., Nov. 12, 1906. Comment-There is no particular drawing power to this show, and outside of the Kauffman act there is nothing to cause talk. In this respect it is quite different from the show of last week. J. H. Finn. LUCY & LUCIER,- Fairly good comedy act for this spot, and was well received by the Monday audiences. 18 min. FS. MR. & MRS. ADELMAN,- These xylophone players are among the cleverest in this line of work, and while they did not get a great deal of applause they pleased the more intelligent classes. 13 min. in two. BURKE & DEMPSEY,- Fairly good, clean talking act, and was given considerable applause at the finish. 14 min. in one. JOHN C. RICE & SALLY COHEN,- In their new comedy sketch "All the World Loves a Lover." This is a good sketch and was well acted, but it is hardly strong enough for headline honors in this theater. 24 min. FS.. GEORGE WILSON,- Wilson got some advance applause, for our audiences have become very well acquainted with him. He had some new material. 17 min. in one. DIXIE SERENADERS,-" Four colored men and two colored women in songs, sayings and dances. Open FS. 8 min. and go to one with minstrel first part 13 min. Not a particularly strong act-from and [an] artistic point. The singing is weak and the dancing only fair. KAUFMANN TROUPE,- These expert cyclists are the best in vaudeville but they have about worn out their welcome here. 18 min. FS. "A JAY CIRCUS,-" Dan Sherman and Mabel DeForest have a good comedy act, but not strong enough to cause talk, and will draw no extra money. Worth about No. 3 position on a good bill. Open with drop and go to FS. 30 min. KINETOGRAPH,- "Getting Evidence" is not a particularly strong film.
