176 NEW YORK CRITICISM---NOV. 26th, 1906. MORTON, TEMPLE & MORTON---Two men and a woman in some so called singing and dancing, followed by rough and tumble work by all three. Even at the money this act is the "Limit" and how it got by elsewhere I can't understand. 15 minutes, full stage. Close in one, three shows. THE CRAIGS---Man and woman in Musical Act. A neat refined act that went very well. Their instruments are draped very artistically and the different selections were well applauded. Very valuable three show act. 15 minutes, full stage. Close in one. DE CHAUNT'S DOGSs---Man and three dogs. Man starts off with some fair contortion work and does a very clever high fall. The dogs work does not amount to much. 10 minutes, full stage, three shows. MR. & MRS. JACK---In a comedy sketch. Two people with disagreeable voices and personalities; not a redeeming feature to the sketch. The man sings a song that did not get a hand. An awful act. 15 minutes, full stage, three shows. WHITELY & BELL---Man and woman in songs, dances and talk. Less said about this act the better. The girl is young and good looking, but such a voice! The finishing song got a fair hand. 14 minutes in one, three shows. MR. & MRS. MURPHY---In the "Coal Strike." Advance applause, and a huge sigh of relief from the audience. The act is so well known that comment is hardly necessary. it went as well as ever, and the place was easy for them. 21 minutes, full stage. LIND---Female Impersonator. Advance applause. His own scenery which is very elaborate. This is a very showy and well worked act, and Lind was obliged to take several calls. The light and scenic effects, and the dancing all helped to make the usual success. 10 minutes, full stage. BROWN, HARRIS & BROWN---Two men and a woman in a little of everything. The young man has a pleasing voice , and the comedy man is quite funny. The woman has little to do, but she dresses very well and looks well. The finish in one is quite good, and the act made a hit. 25 minutes, full stage. Close in one. CRESSY & DAYNE---Third and last week in "Town Hall To-night." These clever people never seem to wear their welcome out, and this funny sketch went as well as ever and received two genuine curtain calls. 26 minutes, full stage. Special Scenery. [paper underneath] THE FINNEYS---Swimmers. Man and woman in a really wonderful act that held the audiences Spellbound. Their performance is new, neatly done and is bound to be talked of. It is an act worth advertising, such as picking up 61 coins by mouth without rising to surface, and staying four minutes under water. The World's Record. KINETOSCOPE--- "Battles of a Barrel." Very funny. "THE VILLAGE WITCH." ---Splendid film and artistic series of pictures. "THE ALPS SEEN THROUGH A TELESCOPE."---Amusing and instructive. NOTE--- Outside of the Craigs the three show section is the worst I have seen here. The whole show costs $400 more than last week, but failed to give any more, if as much, satisfaction; with the exception of the "Finneys." A very hard show to work. Lindsay Morison.
