182 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH., NOV. 26, 1906. The bill this week is first-class from every point of view, and it is expected that the record for attention at the theater will be broken. J. H. Finn. Hedrix & Prescott gave us a very good opening act, and they are well worth all the money we pay them. 10 min. in one. Mr. and Mrs. Allison again favored us with "Minnie from Minnesota." I consider this an excellent comedy and singing act, and it makes good with us every time. 16 min. FS. Close in one. The Willis family of musical entertainers consists of two men and two women who put up a fine quality of instrumental music. This is one of the best acts of this kind we ever had. 15 min. FS. Miss May Tully, assisted by Maude Demarest and company gave us for the first time the comedy-dramatic sketch "Stop, Look and Listen." It was well received with great favor by our audiences as it is novel, well put on and well acted. 25 min. FS. Harry Brown did not get here in time for the Monday matinee and did not get on until 11:30 at night as Houdini who preceded him was handed a lemon in the shape of fixed handcuffs, by some unregenerate cuss. Brown made good with a tired audience. About 15 min in one. Houdini bids fair to break all records for attendance at this theater. He does some wonderful work, and when he released himself from fixed handcuffs Monday night he was accorded an ovation. About 35 min. The Empire Comedy Four proved to be one of the biggest laughing acts of the season. This quartet was here before but did not do nearly as well as on the present occasion. 24 min. in one. Cliffe Berzac's ponies, and his kicking donkey, proved to be one of the best acts of the current season. The donkey had the audience in hysterics of laughter. 13 min. FS.
