210 TEMPLE. DETROIT. Dec. 24, 1906. J. H. Finn. ^[151.-y [?] ] BORANI & NEVARO- This act is better than the average opening act, and although we have played it several times it still amuses. 15 min. FS. FRANCO PIPER- This is a very good banjo juggling act. While he dislikes to close in one he can do it if necessary. 14 FS. 3 in one. LA TROUPE CARMEN- This act is well known over the circuit. It is one of the best wire acts now in this country. 13 FS. MAYME REMINGTON- This act is too well known for comment. Miss Remington brought us new songs, and her "picks" new comedy. 12 min. in three and one. WILFRED CLARKE & CO.- This capital comedian, with his wife, Theo Carew, and another woman and man, gave us for the first time "What Will Happen Next." It in almost unnecessary to say that Mr. Clarke is the most delightful comedian in vaudeville while his wife, Theo Carew, brings not only cleverness but stunning stage presence. It is people the type of Mr. and Mrs. Clarke that bring tone to vaudeville. 17 min. FS. WINSOR McCAY- The author of "Dreams of the Rarebit Fiend was a delightful surprise. as we expected another lemon like Outcault. McGAy entertains all the time he is on the stage. 18 min. in one. "MOTORING-" As we stated on a former occasion this act is filled with the best of comedy, and it went fully as well this time as it did on its initial appearance here. 14 min. in three. THE UESSEMS- There is no doubt in my mind at all that these boys are the best hand-to-hand and head- to- head balancers in the world. Their work is in truth marvelous beyond description. 11 min. FS. KINETOGRAPH- "The Villian Still Pursued Her" is a fairly good film in the comedy line but what we want here in the real thing, much as scenes in foreign countries, etc., but we don't appear to be able to get them. _____
