CONTINUED. SYDNEY DEANE & CO. In Christmas Day on the Island. This well known singing act needs little comment. Every number made a hit, and the bright dialogue and lyrics were not only funny, but refreshing after most of the trashy stuff we are used to. All of the four men are clever and deserve all the applause they get. The closing song went very well. 19 minutes, Special Drop in one. MANSFIELD & WILBUR--In "61 Prospect Street." Sketch by two people first time at this Theatre. The act opens up very slowly, but develops into a very amusing sketch, although on rather old lines. Mr. Wilbur is especially good in the dual character of the clergyman and a young sport. A good comedy sketch. 26 minutes, full stage. MATHEWS & ASHLEY---Same old hit as ever, even in this hard spot which was originally to have been held by Geo. Evans. They are always a hit here, and received big advance applause. 18 minutes in one. Special Drop. BELLONG BROS. ---Two men in straight balancing bicycle act. This is one of the most wonderful acts I have seen in a long while, and made a terrific hit. It will surely be talked about. Neat and novel work, and ranks with the best of European Acts. 12 minutes, full stage. NOTE---This is a splendid show beginning with the two show acts and certainly ought to do the business. The house was very enthusiastic to-day. KINETOGRAPH---"The Unexpected Meal." Funny. "The Scenes of Niagara." Interesting, but not nearly as good as the other Niagara film. "Dear Boys Home for the Holidays." Funny and seasonable. Lindsay Morison.
