CONTINUED. CRANE BROS. in "Mudtown Lockup." Well known on the Circuit. Crazy act. I was disappointed in this act. They only went fairly, and they ought to have been a "Knock out" after so much quiet stuff. Nothing mch to the act. 15 minutes. Special drop in one. GALLAGHER & BARRETT---The star hit of the bill. These boys re simply great, and the act is not only a scream, but is an excellently written sketch. The act looks expensive, but is worth every cent. I cannot recommend this act too highly, for it is a rare novelty for these days. 18 minutes, full stage. Special Scenery. JACK WILSON & CO.---Another "Knock out". I was afraid of them in this spot, but they caught the audience from the start to finish. Wilson is excellent, and is supported by a good man vocalist, and good looking woman. A valuable act, and had the audience convulsed fro 15 out of the 20 minutes. Wilson is a wonder. Three recalls. 20 minutes in one. PEKIN ZOUAVES---Great act. The accuracy of their "double time" drill got big applause, and held the audience spell bound. The finale of the act of course was a yell, and the scaling scene was simply great, and the curtain fell to deafening applause. 12 minutes, full stage. Special backing. KINETOGRAPH----A Clever Thief. Interesting. A Winter in Switzerland. Beautiful film that got applause. The Haunted Hotel. Funny "Fake" Pictures. NOTE----Outside of the Crane Bros. an ideal show from start to finish even the three show acts are "almost human". Audience went out delighted, and notwithstanding Lent I look for a big week. I have started ten minute overtures twice a day which arae getting good applause. Lindsay Morison.
