Continued. Ferry Corwey. Musical clown. This man made a big hit with his novel music, but his comedy is not funny. 12 minutes, full stage Dainty Four. Four fairly good looking girls with the usual voices ? of dancers. Their dancing is fair, but failed to get much applause. Act is out-classed by rest of show, and will try and change spot for to-night. 10 minutes in two. close in one Grace Filkins and James Horne in Augustus Thomas sketch "A Proper Impropriety." All talk and no situations. Miss Filkins is very clever, and Mr. Horne looks and dresses well, but the set is overpaid, in my estimation $150.00 for this house. The lines, of course are very clever, but the best of them failed to "land." Too quite. 23 minutes, full stage. Eva Tanguay. Big advance applause. Here is undoubtedly the "Big Show." Homely and no voice, but that vaudeville something "that makes her worth every dollar. She will surely draw good business here, and talked about. Her costumes are neat, and pretty and she got terrific applause after each number. 15 minutes in one. Four Melvins. A good hand to hand balancing act that held the audience. These acts, however are introducing too much of the "missing" gag to fill in time. Closed to big applause. 12 minutes, full stage. KINETOGRAPH. Tobagganing at St. Moritz. Interesting film. Artful Husband. Funny. Japanese Women. Interesting and good pictures. NOTE. Awfully hard show to work, but should do the business. Changed Hodges and Launchmere with the Dainty Four to-night. Lindsay Morison.
