UNION SQUARE CRITICISM    WEEK OF MAY 6th, 1907.
SAWADAS   Jap man and woman in neat little juggling act. Corking good opener. Good value. Three shows. 13 minutes, full stage.
THE BOLDENS. Colored man and woman. One of the best colored acts I have had here for some time. The man is very good, and got big applause. Lively finish that got three recalls. Three shows. 9 minutes in one.
RENIER & GAUDIER.  Sister act. Voices a little better than usual. Neatly dressed, and changes of costume, very good, Dancing, and the act is much better than the usual sister act. Three shows, 12 minutes in two.
WALTER DANIELS.  To say that this man is clever would be putting it mildly. His making up in view of the audience for Lackaye, Mansfield, Warfield and old soldier and his imitations all got big applause. Valuable act. 14 minutes in one. Three shows.
FRANCES KNIGHT.  An unknown quantity in vaudeville. Good looking, well dressed young woman. Sang three songs very well indeed, and got big applause. I was very lucky to get this woman to do three shows. 10 minutes in one.
BATES MUSICAL TRIO.  Man and two women in a very good musical act that went well. The man's imitation of a 'cello on a one stringed Violin and a new electrical bell machine, all got big hands-also the girl's song. Very good value for the money I am paying them. 16 minutes, full stage. Four minutes close in one.
LOUISE RAFFIN'S MONKS.  Well known act that went just as well as usual. The monks doing the trapeze work are wonders. They got a lot of applause together with the disrobing act. 13 minutes, full stage.
LALLA SELBINI.  The Bathing Girl. The act caused a decided sensation. The girl is pretty and does a little bit of everything, and the dwarf and colored boy who assists her are very funny. The woman's daring changes to full tights and various wheel stunts make a terrific hit. This act will certainly help business. 15 minutes, full stage. Special Scenery.


SIX GLINSERETTIS.  This well known act went as well as ever. It is certainly the most picturesque and good act on the circuit. 10 minutes, full stage.
KINETOGRAPH.  A Runaway Motor Car. Funny. Wonderful Transformation. Interesting French film. Picnic Hampers. Very funny.
NOTE.
A great show from start to finish and ought to carry out last week's big business.
