REPORT ON PROVIDENCE SHOW, WEEK OF NOV. 1st, 1909. Charles Lovenberg, Manager. This week's bill is most satisfactory and that Kellermann has drawing power was proven by the big opening audience and the large advance sale. Stutzman & May In "The Soap Peddler". A rural sketch by two men which at best can only be rated as fair. 17 Min, in 1 1/2. Mary Davis Character songs. All right for the amount of money pain but would not want to recommend her for the big time. 13 Min. in One. Fred Zobedie Equilibrist. This is a corking good act that made a decided hit this afternoon as it did last season. 10 Min.F.S. Geiger & Walters These people opened rather slowly and at first I was inclined to believe that we had them too much, but they finished in great shape. I believe, though, that it would be advisable to give them a rest for a couple of seasons. 14 Min. in One. The Keatons The advisability of giving an act a rest was proven by the hit that these people made this afternoon, whereas three years ago they were something of a frost. They went decided-ly strong with the audience today, in fact scored a hit. 22 Min. Open F. S., close in One. Temple Quartette Four good looking men who present a most attractive singing act, winning strong approval from the audience. 18 Min. in One. Adeline Dunlap & Co. Dramatic sketch, "Mame". This is a fairly good act, well presented. Miss Dunlap is overshadowed by the man who plays the German professor. I question the value of the act and the price pain is surely plenty. 19 Min.F.S. Jack Wilson Trio Held this spot with decided satisfaction, having the audience roaring for 28 Min. In One. Annette Kellerman No need to talk about this act. She went as well as usual and draws the money. 8 Min. F. S. BALTIMORE SHOW= MARYLAND THEATRE = WEEKOF NOV. 1 ST. FERRY =9 Minutes, Full Stage. This is a good standard act and splendid value for the money. "The Human Frog" Quigley Bros. = 17 Minutes in 1. This act just about gets by. This class of act has lost its value with the present day class of vaudeville patrons. Irish Comedians. La Valera = 10 Minutes full stage. Spanish dancer. A beautiful girl handsomely costumed, who dances very gracefully. She did splendid and seemed to please our audience immensely. Thora =15 minutes in 1. The Lady and the Page". Ventriloquist act. The talk is very slow and tiresome. The singing is good. The surprise at finish saves the act. Ward , Clare Co= 26 minutes full stage. A lively little sketch with good complications, that is going very well. The finish in 1 is a travesty on acting ebing the hit of the act. Models Jardin De Paris. = 26 minutes Full stage. finishing five minutes in 1. This act did all that was expected of it, making them all laugh throughout and received big applause at the finish. Geo. Austin Moore= 16 minutes in 1. Good personality, Good material and going very nicely. Pleased everybody. Hassan Ben Ali Arabs. = 10 minutes, full stage. Faster and better than ever. A great acrobatic act. Kinetograph = Various types of aeroplanes in flights. Very good. F.C.Schanberger.
