Report of Colonial, Lawrence, Week of Nov. 15, 1909. Madji - Equilibrist. Palace in 3. Went good. Lee Bros. & Allen - singing and dancing. Open in one, then three. Close in 1. Very good. Palermo Trio - Italian singers. Went very big. Edw. Esmonde & Co. - "A Soldier of Propville." Very big. Eagle & Girl - This act will create a great amount of talk. Brown & Ayer - One of the best acts of the season. Lavine, Cimaron Trio - This act closed the show with a scream. Pictures. Colonial Theatre, Lawrence, Mass., J. Fred Lees, Critic. 31 BALTIMORE SHOW= MARYLAND THEATRE= WEEK OF NOV. 15TH. 1909 JOSIE O' MEERS= European Wire Artist. 9 Minutes. Full Stage. A very pretty opening act, which pleased very well. Miss O'Meers is very pretty and graceful. MR. QUICK= Lightning Cartoonist. 13 minutes in 1. A good cartoonist whose subjects are popular, well chosen and up to date. HOWARD-COLLINSON CO. "A Piece of Dresden China". 10 minutes. Full Stage. This Is A European Comedy Knock About act. Carry their own set representing a bric-a-brac shop. Act opens a little draggy, but soon strikes a good comedy gait which is a scream. The finish is a whirlwind of rough comedy that pleased our audience much. Four curtain calls. ELIZABETH MURRAY= Dialect Songs. 15 Minutes in 1. Singing four songs all good and well rendered. GRACIE EMMETT & CO.= "Mrs. Murphy's Second Husband". 20 minutes, Full stage Same sure fire comedy hit as before. ROYAL HAWAIIAN TROUPE = 30 minutes. Full stage. This act scored the biggest hit of the season and well they deserved it as I do not consider we have ever had a more pleasing vocal and instrumental specialty on our stage. NAT M. Wills = 30 Minutes in 1. Parodies, popular songs, topical songs and monologue. Too well known to need more than mere mention. His new monologue went immense. ROBERT DU MONT TRIO= "The Hotel Turnover", 8 minutes, Full stage. A good fast acrobatic act, that closes the show in splendid shape KINETOGRAPH = Review of German Army by Crown Prince. A very fine picture Fred. C. Schanberger.
