REPORT OF BALTIMORE SHOW= MARYLAND THEATRE = WEEK OF NOV. 22ND. 1909 ALTUS BROS. = Club Jugglers, 8 Minutes in 2. A very good fast opening act. Doing all right. LAVELLE & SINCLAIR = Singing And Dancing Act. 15 minutes in 1. Only a fair act which just about gets by. LESTER BROS. & CREIGHTON SISTERS= Singers, Dancers, ACrobats, 23 minutes full stage. Splendid value, doing fine. An act that is all merit and go. NEIL McKINLEY = Singer of Comedy Songs. 12 minutes in 1. Hardly strong enough for the big houses. PAT REILLY & CO = Sketch "The Days of '61". 22 minutes full stage. Dont think it will do. HOWARD BROS = Banjo Wizards. 20 minutes full stage. 6 minutes of which is in 1. Good instrumentalists but one of the brothers is try to introduce comedy, which to my mind is very dismal. HARVEY, De VORA CO.= Comedy Singing and Dancing Act. 16 Minutes in 1. A good lively act which holds this spot very acceptably. PETER = 32 minutes. Full stage. This is unquestionably the most wonderful Chimpanzee in the world and exhibits almost human intelligence and understanding. He is one big hit if there ever was one in vaudeville. KINETOGRAPH = Picture "Sunny South Of France," Very good picture. Fred'k C. Schanberger BALTIMORE SHOW = MARYLAND THEATRE = WEEK OF NOV. 29TH. 1909 5 Musical Mac Larens= Musical Act. 12 minutes full stage. 3 minutes in 1. A fairly good musical act, which opens the show very well. Neatly costumed as Highlanders. Keno & Morris = Comedy singing and dancing. 20 minutes full stage. Eccentric boy and soubrette. Doing a variety of dances and fair singing. Closed to good applause. Four Keatons = Eccentric Comedy Knockabout act. Same big scream as ever. Went well and pleased everybody. 20 Minutes full stage, closing in 1. "High Life In Jail"= 19 minutes, Full stage. From a novelty standpoint this act made good, causing quite a lot of talk, but I must confess that the comedy did not get over. Four Idinias = European Gymnastic Act. 12 Minutes Full stage. A great and beautiful act, richly embellished with electrical effects and splendidly costume. Went fine with our audiences. Countess Rossi & Paula= 12 minutes in 1. Just gets by. Not strong enough for this spot in the bill. PETER = Retained another week. 30 minutes, full stage. Doing great and I feel he will hold the business for the second week. Kinetograph = Picture of Naples, city and bay. Very good picture and pleased everybody. F.C. Schanberger
