49 REPORT ON PROVIDENCE SHOW, WEEK OF DECEMBER 6th, 1909. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. If we ever had a better vaudeville show in this theatre, I don't remember it. FERRY The Human Frog. This is about as good a contortion act and as well presented a novelty of this kind as ever I saw. Splendid make-up and attractive scenery and accessories. Could hold a much more important spot with ease. Great value for the money. 11 Min. F. S. HELENE GREATOREX Whistler. An attractive young woman who whistles better than the average siffleuse, but none of these acts have any great value, other than once in a while to present something different. I think Miss. Greatorex' salary is most ample for what she delivers. 11 Min. in One. TOM BARRY & CO. In a novelty burlesque drama, satiring the Nick Carter craze. While the individual members of his company are not particularly great, the novelty of the act and its funny lines and situations, carried through in good style. Opens and closes in One, about seven minutes at the opening and three minutes at the close. Entire act 28 Min. KID GABRIEL Posing, representing the famous Remington Western pictures. A good novelty that scored decidedly. Worth talking about in advance advertising. 11 Min. F. S. OLIVOTTI TROUBADORS A well-known musical act that scored its usual hit. 16. Min. in One. LOTTIE WILLIAMS & CO. While I felt that Miss Williams would have some drawing power, I didn't expect we were going to get the splendid sketch she presented, which, in some respects, resembles the Rose Stahl "Chorus Lady" sketch, altho on an entirely different theme. The play is well-written and excellently acted by Miss Williams and the members of her company. Acts of this kind are of far more value to this house, and I believe to the average vaudeville theatre, than all the George Began or other serious sketches that were ever written. 20 Min. F. S. GUS WILLIAMS This veteran held the spot down with perfect satisfaction. He is always welcome here. 20 Min. in One. IRENE FRANKLIN assisted by Burt Green Scored the biggest kind of a hit. Will draw money on the actual merit of her work. 23 Min. F.S. WORK & OWER Well-known comedy acrobatic act which scored tremendously. 7 Min. in One. SILBON'S CIRCUS Dog, Pony and several cats. A splendid novelty act, well presented. Contains considerable good comedy. 15 Min. F. S. KEITH MOTION PICTURES O.K.
