61 REPORT BALTIMORE SHOW = MARYLAND THEATRE = WEEK OF DEC. 20TH, 1909 ZENO, JORDAN & ZENO = 10 minutes full stage. European Casting act. A good act that opens the show in great shape. MAYBELLE ADAMS = 15 minutes in 1. Gypsy Violinist. A Beautiful Girl who plays the violin acceptably. Holds this spot nicely. CHRISTY & WILLIS = 10 Minutes full stage. Juggler and Dancer. Very lively and pleasing act, which is doing well here. HOWARD KYLE & Frances Stevens. = Sketch "The Combination". 18 minutes full stage. These two legitimate artists, have a fine little sketch which much resembles "Paid in Full". The story is well told, has plenty of action to it and should develop into a good offering for vaudeville. This is its first showing in vaudeville and was well received. Closed to four encores. SIX AMERICAN DANCERS = 15 minutes in one. This, the third engagement at this house, opened to a good reception and closed stronger than ever. The act has been brightened up by the use of a brand new plush curtain and improved in many other particulars. TOM EDWARDS = English Ventriloquist. 25 minutes full stage. A great artist, good material and scoring one great big hit. Clifford & Burke = Comedians. 20 Minutes in 1. Feared for them in this spot but glad to say they held it in good shape. GRIGOLATI'S AERIAL BALLET = 15 minutes. Full stage. A beautiful novelty act that will surely draw money. The flight of the doves is a big surprise to the audience and will cause a great deal of talk. Splendid value. Kinetograph = Night Before Xmas. Good picture. F.C. Schanberger.
